Reading Your Monthly Invoice

Your monthly invoice is broken into a handful of sections:

  • Account summary — your account name, billing period, and amount due
  • Service charges — the base rate for your plan
  • Number charges — any add-on numbers beyond your plan
  • Usage — outbound minutes or other metered services
  • Taxes & fees — government-mandated telecom taxes and surcharges (these vary by state and locality)
  • Payments & credits — previous payments, credits, or adjustments
